Furniture and Decor
A beautifully furnished room isn't simply about how much you spend or how many pieces you include. It's about choosing a sofa that suits the scale of the room, a rug that brings the arrangement together, and lighting that feels right for the space. When those foundational choices work together, the room feels balanced and inviting.
Furniture and Decor focuses on the furnishing and styling layer. We source and select furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories, then bring them together in a room that feels cohesive and personal. This service is ideal when you're not planning a renovation but would like help refining the space through thoughtful editing, purposeful sourcing, and carefully layered details.
Thoughtful selection, proportion, and layering make all the difference.
What's Included
Aesthetic and Lifestyle Discovery Before sourcing begins, we take time to understand the room and the people who use it. How does the space function? What do you already own and want to keep? What styles appeal to you, and what hasn't worked in the past? Together, we establish a direction that feels considered and genuinely yours.
Furniture Selection and Sourcing We research and source from our network of trade vendors, independent makers, and specialty retailers across a range of price points. Each piece is evaluated for its proportions, material quality, construction, comfort, and fit with the overall direction. We narrow the options to a considered selection, making it easier to choose pieces that work beautifully together.
Lighting Curation Lighting has a meaningful influence on how a room looks and feels, yet it's easy to overlook when furnishing a home. We select fixtures for the different needs of each room: ambient lighting to set the tone, task lighting for everyday activities, and accent pieces that add warmth or character. We also consider scale and how each fixture looks as an object in the room during the day.
Area Rug Selection A rug grounds a furniture grouping, defines the seating area, and introduces texture and warmth. The right size helps the entire arrangement feel balanced. We consider size, material, pattern, pile height, and color in the context of the full room, rather than in isolation.
Textile and Material Layering Drapery, pillows, throws, and upholstery add softness, texture, and warmth to a room. We select textiles for their quality and feel, considering how they work with the other materials in the space. Durability is part of the process, too, so the pieces you choose can be enjoyed over time.
Accessories and Styling Artwork, sculptural objects, ceramics, books, and plants add personality when chosen with care. We style with intention, balancing the details that make a room feel personal with enough breathing room for the design to shine.

Curated Design Services covers the same sourcing scope with a bit more emphasis on the overall aesthetic direction process. In practice the difference is subtle and we'll help you figure out which framing fits your project in an initial conversation.
-
Yes. We assess what you have, determine what belongs in the new composition, and build the sourcing direction around what you're keeping. Sometimes an existing piece becomes the anchor for the whole room. We'll always be honest about what's working and what isn't.
-
No. We provide sourcing documentation you can use to purchase independently. If you'd rather hand off the purchasing process entirely, full procurement support is available as an add-on.
-
We'll tell you honestly and help you evaluate whether it's the right place to invest or whether there's a better allocation of the same budget somewhere else. We're not in the business of talking you out of things that are genuinely worth it. We are in the business of helping you make good decisions.
